We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Event Production Manager who will be responsible to the Events Manager for the research, development, production and delivery of Live at the Bandstand, Battersea Park Fireworks and all new production initiatives; and assisting with the delivery of any other events produced by the Events Team as a whole.

The role will focus on developing the current summer events into a month-long program as well as assist the Events Manager in successfully delivering Wandsworth Council’s Battersea Park Fireworks in November 2019. The role involves a significant amount of research and development of the Enable produced events including identifying new revenue / sponsorship opportunities, budget planning and allocation, new supplier sourcing and contract negotiations to ensure increased commercial viability of the events. The events produced will include music and food festivals, family days, dog show, outdoor screenings and a fireworks show. The role works closely with the Event Manager and Event Account Manager (Outdoor Venues).

You will…

  • Have proven and demonstrable experience producing and delivering medium to large commercially successful public outdoor events
  • Be confident in producing all relevant production paperwork including, but not limited to, Site plans, Event Management plans, Safety and Emergency Plans (CAD experience preferable)
  • Have experience of booking artists/ performers and sourcing event infrastructure
  • Have budgeting experience and a keen understanding of creating commercially successful events
  • Be passionate about creating events to entertain a wide-ranging audience and diverse community
  • Have exceptionally high standards of customer service, attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Be able to communicate effectively and professionally in writing, by telephone or face to face with senior management, other staff, clients and members of the public
  • Be patient and able to negotiate professionally with suppliers
  • Be able enforce measures to meet health & safety legislation or prescribed terms and conditions
  • Be hands on/ proactive onsite and pride yourself on going the extra mile to create the best event possible
  • Be a team player but also be able to manage your workload independently
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively
  • Have experience using various marketing tools and social media to support the promotion of events
  • Be fully proficient with Microsoft Office applications and have had experience with Xero or other accounting software
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Have a Personal Licence (preferable)
  • Be able to work weekends and evenings as required and able to manage your time accordingly

This role will suit an Event Producer/ Event Production Manager with proven similar event production experience and exceptionally good commercial awareness.
