THE ORGANISATION
Leading organisation working within the media production and broadcast sector - they deliver a major international annual flagship industry expo which attracts over 55,000 attendees, over 1,500 exhibitors - and which is acknowledged as the major show case and discussion hub for the sector. THE ROLE
Reporting to the Sales Director you'll be joining and supporting the team of 4 who are responsible for promoting their high-profile events. With over 1,000 exhibitors, across five main areas at a major international venue - plus the varied event programme of activities around it, this is a fantastic project to work on. You will become an integral part of the team, as well as providing admin support you may also be asked to assist on site, so be prepared for some travel!
Responsibilities include:
As the link between the sales team and clients you will handle all administration including business processes, booking forms, contracts and documentation. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in some sales leading up to the event itself.
- Handle the admin for exhibition space, sponsorship and advertising
- Coordinate client communications - be first point of contact with clients
- Admin & sales initiative support
- Liaison with internal teams
- Reporting on client feedback
- Organise and take minutes of meetings
- Start ASAP
THE CANDIDATE
You'll be a great communicator with strong attention to detail, proven planning and implementation skills. You'll ideally have some experience of working in events or the media in an admin capacity and enjoy a busy, varied role.
Key requirements:
- Articulate with good communication skills
- Strong admin skills
- Excellent data entry skills
- Strong proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- CRM and file sharing sites knowledge useful
- Strong relationship building skills
- Flexible, proactive, clear sighted, calm and composed
- Process driven and articulate
- Excellent interpersonal skills, enjoys being a key part of a team
