Permanent Event/Exhibitions Coordinator position working on large-scale well-known public facing shows & exhibitions that will be a perfect job for a super organized person who already has brilliant customer service, data-entry & systems and office-based admin experience and is now looking to move into a career in events!

THE ROLE

This exciting position will involve being part of a busy team who look after all the exhibitor services for a portfolio of popular UK Shows and Exhibitions.

The role will be heavy on exhibitor communication (email, phone and face-to-face), customer service, back office project management, exhibitor data-entry & database coordination, event administration, management of the online exhibitor application portal, assisting with exhibitor newsletters & exhibitor website pages and general exhibitor services coordination such as "sending/receiving/processing" exhibitor contracts, orders, paperwork & exhibitor queries, assisting on exhibitor manuals & show guides and managing exhibitor accreditation & on-site show passes.

This role also involves being on-site during the build period and throughout the show where you will be handling all the on-site exhibitor customer service & general trouble shooting, managing the on-site exhibitor cabin and coordinating all the casual/temporary staff that are working on the show.

YOU

You'll be a super organized & detailed candidate with circa 1-2 years' solid office-based experience (including administration, data management, project coordination, customer service, reporting etc..) who has a genuine interest in events or would like a career in events, exhibitions, shows going forward.

Key candidate requirements:-

  • Strong office based admin background
  • Outstanding customer service skills (phone, email & face to face)
  • Solid data-entry, data-management, systems & CRM experience
  • Loves detailed complex project coordination
  • Really good interpersonal skills & great with people
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Friendly & fun as well as hardworking & professional
  • Proactive & enthusiastic team player with a can-do attitude
  • Must be able to work on own initiative, work accurately under pressure and be able to organise own work to challenging timescales!

NB: Must be willing to be on-site for several days in a row during busy periods and when the shows are in "set-up & build" stage as well as for the duration of the show/event.

An interest in horticulture, landscape gardening or environment would be advantageous and ideally candidates will have had some exposure to events in the past (if not they must genuinely want to pursue a career in events) and in their next job would love to be working on big shows & exhibitions.

This is a fantastic permanent coordinator level role (Exhibition Services / Project Coordinator, Customer Services Executive, Administrator, Back-of-House Store Manager, Event Admin Exec, Accreditation Coordinator) for a confident super organized person who already has brilliant customer service, data-entry & systems and office-based admin experience and is now looking to move into a career in events!
