Job Details
A small membership organisation in the building industry is looking for an Awards Co-ordinator to work collaboratively with the Senior Awards Co-ordinator, members and colleagues to manage and deliver a successful programme of regional and national awards.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have knowledge of proofing marketing communication, e-software and content management systems, good practical experience of organising and managing events for 250 + people and the ability to plan, organise and project manage work dealing with multiple tasks, pressure and tight deadlines
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver a successful programme of regional and national awards.
- Work with colleagues to achieve service plan objectives/targets.
- Work collaboratively with the other Awards Co-ordinators to manage sponsors involvement in all Awards. Liaise with award sponsors and ensure all contracted deliverables are met
- Market and publicise the awards to members and clients using various channels including e-shots, newsletters, and through the website to publicise Awards and run the Awards website for entries, ticketing etc. working collaboratively with the Awards Coordinators
- Attend regular working group meetings, providing updates on the awards and suggestions for future improvements
- Measure the success of the awards year on year and evaluate their success using key performance indicators. Disseminate information to the company to further business objectives
- Produce advice, guidance and toolkits for regions that organise their own events.
- Co-ordinate the annual awards cycle. Administer the entry process, facilitate judging sessions, arrange award dates, liaise with entrants and manage all award logistics, attending onsite
- Assist in setting and controlling budgets, produce revenue reports and forecasts on all income and expenditure. Resolve debts and report on overdue accounts
- Under the direction of the Deputy Chief Executive & Senior Awards Co-ordinator source, brief and negotiate with external supplier's including venues, audio visual companies, design agencies, entertainers, hosts and photographers
