Event Manager

A creative membership organisation based in Gloucestershire seek an experienced events professional to act as the sole event function within this marcomms department to deliver and market a portfolio of around 30 events overseas.

You will work on a wide range of events including conferences, seminars, training, dinners, lunches and their presence at International exhibitions. You will be responsible for developing and delivering events within the overall strategy and budgets of the organisation. You will have excellent communication and relationship building skills and be organised and flexible with great attention to detail.

You will have strong experience of identifying, appointing and managing external stakeholders and have experience of event marketing to ensure an audience for events. You will be producing comprehensive event briefings for speakers and team members and working with the team to identify, source and recruit prospective speakers for events.

You will have experience of developing and executing an event strategy and have good negotiation, communications and time management experience.

This role will require international travel throughout the year to events. This role can be based in the organisations office full time or work partly in the office and partly at home, therefore you must be self motivated and extremely organised.
