THE COMPANY

Our client is an industry leading full service live communications agency with over 15 years' experience within the industry!

Working with a mixture of end clients and agencies the events that they deliver are broad and range from small conferences to a full production of an awards ceremony for 2000 guests, to a multi-location road shows and exhibitions; working both in the UK and Internationally.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Head of Events with energy, ambition and a willingness to 'go the extra mile' for the clients!

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 8 Event Managers who will in turn plan and deliver a range of events for clients.

You will give support and commercial guidance to the team using extensive events experience, conduct regular account reviews and ensure work is evenly distributed across the team.

What we need from you:

* At least 5 years' experience within the events industry having a strong understanding of large-scale event production.
* Experience in managing an events team
* A strong appreciation of production having worked in conference and awards
* Extensive experience in managing budgets
* Exceptional communications and interpersonal skills
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
* A team player

THE CANDIDATE

Our client are a well-established live communications agency with an enviable client list and a real ambition to grow over the next 2-3 years and therefore seeking a strong event manager and team leader, ideally from a full service agency.

You will be passionate, hardworking, and really dedicated to helping push forward the organisations growth.

You must have a flexible way of thinking, a hands-on attitude and excellent team work, communication and social skills in order to liaise effectively with colleagues and clients.
