We Are DesignScene, a creative event production agency, crafting innovative design-led experiences for brands worldwide.

We are looking to expand our team with a Senior Production Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ agency experience with at least 2 years in a similar role.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced production manager to work with a talented team on hugely creative and innovative experiential projects. Our clients include Amazon, Snap Inc, ITV Studios, Hulu, Live Nation and Shopify.

Reporting into the Head of Production and working alongside a team of producers you will deliver complex projects worldwide to an exceptional standard, maintaining the high production values of DesignScene. You will be a hands on production manager with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships internally, and externally with clients and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have; a natural and genuine passion for technical innovation, an outstanding record of delivering projects internationally, and excellent management and organisational skills. Practical skills in a technical production discipline an advantage.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

What do you have to achieve?

  • Delivery of all projects through the triple constraints of cost, time, and quality
  • Efficient and effective pre production planning
  • Smooth and efficient onsite project delivery from build to derig
  • All deadlines, both internal and client led are met

Job Activities – what do you have to do?

  • Lead the production planning process on your projects, and support on team projects as required
  • Manage the onsite production delivery, including client liaison
  • Assist in the interrogation of client briefs and work collaboratively to deliver innovative and creative solutions
  • Oversee the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse, ensuring all operational issues are resolved with speed
  • Work with the producers to manage project budgets taking responsibility of the production costs
  • Conduct detailed site surveys and onsite supplier briefings
  • Build collaborative relationships, internally and externally
  • Contracting and management of suppliers, including cost negotiation
  • Complete project reconciliation including expenses to meet deadlines
  • Stay informed of industry news and champion new products and technology
  • Produce detailed production schedules and other project documentation as required
  • Manage the H&S process, collating 3 rd party information and contracting H&S specialists if required
  • Hold supplier debriefs with the project team to take forward any learnings
