Events Project Manager urgently needed to work on an exciting international event within the broadcast and communications industry. 

THE ORGANISATION
Leading organisation working within the media production and broadcast sector – they deliver a major international annual flagship industry expo which attracts over 55,000 attendees, over 1,500 exhibitors – and which is acknowledged as the major showcase and discussion hub for the sector.

THE ROLE
As Project Manager, you will work on the annual event, but also a series of stand-alone events, having responsibility for project managing their smooth and seamless delivery and managing key elements including budgets, timelines, project plans and team roles and responsibilities.

Responsibilities
You will work with project owners to help define project objectives and manage these objectives to their successful conclusion, ensuring all projects are planned and executed in line with the company's project management methodology. You will be responsible for managing project plans and budgets and making sure these are adhered to. Resourcing projects, using both internal and external staff, comes within your remit, as does the day to day management of other team members. And you will proactively seek out ways of ensuring the Projects team leads the way in terms of project management best practice concepts and methodologies.

YOU
You'll be an enthusiastic, disciplined team player with strong leadership skills and meticulous attention to detail. You'll happily multi-task without compromising on quality or work rate. You'll be able to demonstrate you possess strong project management skills and have a track record in team facilitation and management. You will be experienced in budget management and have sound knowledge of key financial concepts. You will have a broad understanding of all the issues that can affect the delivery of an event or project and know how to manage them. A good knowledge of the electronic media and broadcast industry would also be a benefit.
