THE ROLE

Due to continued growth and success, they are now looking for a senior level Account Director to come on board and take ownership for the management and strategic growth of a number of accounts. A senior level role responsibilities include:

Managing, developing and maximising accounts
Having a key focus on strategy input and direction
Developing a deep understanding of the accounts and what they are trying to achieve
Managing and developing relationships to encourage spend across all areas of the business
Work with senior members to development strategic account plans
Ensuring communication across all internal departments
Pitching for business when required
Attending events onsite when required

THE CANDIDATE

This role is focused mainly around the management and growth of client relationships so candidates must have a proven background in managing and developing accounts and associated revenue, with excellent commercial awareness. Experience of working in an agency previously is essential and a background of delivering live events would be beneficial but is not essential for the role. Experience of working within and / or knowledge of the healthcare / pharmaceutical sector would be a huge advantage for this role but again is not necessarily a pre-requisite. Candidates must be familiar with influencing board level members and have the ability to commutate effectively with multiple internal departments, as well as clients.
