THE COMPANY

Utilising the existing venues, these two establishments have recently come together forming a brand new events team. Exploiting the fantastic conferencing and hospitality opportunities offered within their shared space; they are able to hold corporate events for a diverse range of clients with numbers reaching 800 pax. This incredibly flexible event venue also offers unique spaces for the more unusual brief and private special events. Having already had huge success as established venues this endeavour will only allow for an even busier event calendar!

THE ROLE

We are now looking for a strong Senior Event Technician to join this exciting team! As part of the team you will provide an efficient and professional service managing the technical delivery of events taking place across both venues.

The role will cover the following:

*Leading the delivery of technical services across the two venues
*Providing support to clients with regards to technical solutions for their events
*Working closely with clients on their requirements throughout each projects
*Liaising with external AV suppliers on surplus kit requirements
*Carrying out site visits and workarounds with clients
*Rigging, operating, troubleshooting and de-rigging varied AV - lighting, graphics, sound, staging
*Overseeing health & safety in relation to technical delivery
*Sourcing, training and managing causal technicians and contractors
*Upselling technical services to clients where possible
*Supporting with the maintenance of in-house kit

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this position candidates will have experience working as a Senior Event Technician or Junior Technical Project Manager within a venue, technical supply company or technical production agency. As part of their previous background candidates will have been working in a client facing role and will have strong hands on technical / AV knowledge across the full AV spectrum.
