Our client is an IT and AV hire company to the live events industry supplying to end clients, production companies and large scale venues. As a business they have made significant investments in new products and technology to stay ahead of the game making them a market leader in what they do.

THE ROLE

Due to ongoing expansion we are now looking for a strong Sales Manager who can develop and implement the sales strategy, identify new target markets and ensure growth objectives are met. You will oversee and develop a team of Account Managers, ensuring targets are achieved and profitability for the business is maximised.

Using a consultative and proactive approach the Sales Manager is responsible for:

*Managing / developing a portfolio of clients
*Implementing and executing sales strategies
*Attending and leading sales pitches
*Building effective and profitable business relationships
*Maintaining and manging relations to ensure consistency in service and revenue
*Identifying potential new business opportunities
*Developing a database of contacts
*Manging and overseeing team

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will currently be working within a sales capacity ideally within a technical supply company however candidates from the wider events industry may be considered. We are looking for candidates who thrive on working to sales targets whilst providing a consistently high level of customer service and building strong client relationships.
