THE COMPANY

Our client is a well-established full service event management agency - with creativity at the heart of their projects they have over 20 years' experience organising and delivering projects for a varied portfolio of clients. With a portfolio of events spanning from conferences and awards evenings through to networking events, incentives and product launches they work on a truly global basis from the UK to the US and everywhere in between!

THE ROLE

As Event Manager you will be responsible for the end to end delivery of varied projects across their full client base.

The roles responsibilities are broad and includes;

*Liaising with clients and taking the initial brief
*Taking hold of a project from conception to completion
*Preparing initial event concepts and client facing proposals
*Implementing project timelines and overseeing deadlines
*Sourcing and managing supplier relationships
*Carrying out site visits
*Organising full event logistics including social programmes
*Overseeing delegate management and accommodation booking
*Attending events onsite to ensure successful delivery (internationally)
*Creating and reconciling budgets whilst maximising profit
*Managing junior members of the team

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this role we are looking for candidates who have experience managing event projects from initial brief through to onsite delivery. Event agency, association, conference organiser, charity and client side backgrounds will be considered however candidates must have had exposure to corporate projects (conferences ideally) along with client/stakeholder liaison and financial management. We are looking for candidates with a motivated and confident character who are keen to throw themselves into a fantastic new opportunity!
