Co-educational Boarding School, Dover, Kent We have an exciting career opportunity for an Events Co-ordinator at our unique and iconic School set in 150 acres of Kent countryside site near to the White Cliffs of Dover.

Established in 1803, we are a state boarding School for students aged 11 to 18.  Originally set up to educate the children of serving soldiers, the School is still popular with military families but is open to all since becoming an Academy in 2010. We are an impressive community and our students forge life-long friendships and retain a strong connection to the School.

We are looking for an experienced lettings and events co-ordinator to innovate and continuously develop the use of our facilities. You will have the opportunity to create the business model and use your entrepreneurial skills to expand and grow this business.  The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the events and lettings sector.  An eye for quality and detail is essential and you should perform well under pressure, be reliable, efficient and hardworking.  Excellent customer and communication skills both written and verbal are required. You should also have the ability to build strong relationships quickly with both internal and external stakeholders and a sound IT knowledge.

Salary: DOYRMS Scale (£24,964 to £32,721 per annum) and dependant on experience.  The position is full-time, working Monday to Friday; with additional hours maybe required to fulfil the role on occasions during the evenings and weekend.  Accommodation on site may be available at a fair rent of £450 for a 3 bed house.
