London Team Leader

£30,000 - £32,000 per annum

You will provide an efficient and effective service within the London Team, encompassing the leadership of the London event team; the successful delivery, development and management of sport and leisure activities to meet members’ needs and objectives within the region, the provision of an enabling and facilitating role in support of volunteers.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the work required of the team is managed effectively and allocated daily, ensuring progress and quality as key. You will also oversee the development and delivery of our sporting strands within London by collaborating with volunteers to support and oversee continuous development. You will oversee event co-ordination, volunteer support and marketing and ensure an oversight of continuous integration with our organisational requirements, legal stipulations, insurance and general duty of care.insurance and general duty of care.

You will have a relevant degree or HND, alternatively at least 2 years’ experience in a sport, leisure or volunteer management environment, and:

  • Relevant experience within volunteer coordination.
  • Experience of managing or coordinating projects.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • A flexible approach to people and work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of people.
  • Excellent organisation, administration and IT skills.
