Production Manager - international creative events agency

Established international hi-end events agency - specialising in big budget, bespoke private events. Working directly to top private and corporate clients, they specialise in creating unique and hi-end private events, celebratory events, including weddings, birthday parties, and launch and anniversary celebrations in unique venues and 5* hotels in the UK and Europe - this agency is adept at turning fantasy into unforgettable reality! The company has its own and extensive in-house stock of top- level sound and lighting equipment and work with staging and scenic specialists to create incredible environments for their clients.

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager, with direct experience in live event production, to work closely with the events team, taking each project through from initial brief to on-site delivery. You'll work closely with designers and specify the technical requirements - scenic, lighting, sound - that will bring the design concept to fruition. You'll be the one on-site who makes sure that everything comes together as it should, to create an unforgettable occasion.

Some key requirements:

• Working knowledge of scenic, rigging, lighting, audio and video required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent organisation, planning and scheduling skills
• Commercial/financial production management skills
• Good numeracy skills to include foreign currencies
• Operational/viewing knowledge of AutoCAD/Sketch-up
• Health and Safety knowledge

YOU
You'll need demonstrable experience in all areas of production management, both pre-production and on-site, including technical lighting, projection and sound, stage set and bespoke structure design and build, as well as crew management and logistics. A lighting, sound or video background is certainly an advantage.

You'll be happy to work in a busy, vibrant office where no two days are the same and where there are often last-minute challenges to be met! Flexibility around weekend and evening work is needed to meet the demands of the job and a willingness to travel abroad.
