The GLA are recruiting an exceptional, organised and experienced person to join us covering the authorisation of events, rallies and all other activities taking place upon Trafalgar Square and Parliament Square Garden, and some events and lettings within City Hall – office of the Mayor of London.

You will play an essential role in the authorisation process of the activities from a landlord perspective, and work with a diverse range of people including internal and external clients, production and filming teams and statutory authorities, on behalf of the Greater London Authority, ensuring all activities are not only well planned and managed, but also fully compliant with all regulatory & statutory requirements.

As well as having managed and operated events, functions and lettings in a high-profile environment, you will have experience in reviewing and approving health and safety documentation, licensing, and event management plans.  You will have excellent interpersonal communication skills and be confident working both as part of a great team and independently with excellent attention to detail and administration skills. Flexibility is essential, as some evening and weekend work will be required, as is normal in the events industry.
