A fantastic opportunity to work for a privately owned events agency who work on a variety of different events, supporting on a number of different accounts.

THE COMPANY

Based in a spectacular open plan office space, this agency specialise in a broad range of corporate events such as conferences, product launches and gala dinners with a large focus on the automotive sector. These include some large scale events with budgets of up to £1M for around 2000 delegates. THE ROLE

This agency are now looking for an Events Manager to join their team on a contract basis to work on a wide variety of different events. The responsibilities of this position will include;

* Taking briefs from clients/ Account Director
* Sourcing venues
* Creating proposals
* Preparing and managing budgets (this would include a variety of currencies)
* Negotiating costs ensuring they are in line with budgets
* Managing delegate logistics including booking travel and accommodation
* Liaising with external suppliers
* Being onsite to continue the management of the event
* Adhering to health and safety/ risk assessment requirements
* Reconciling budgets

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will come from an events background with experience of managing events end to end within an agency capacity. This role would also suite someone who is looking to step up into an Event Manager role with strong end to end experience. Candidates must have strong event logistics and supplier management experience.
