With global offices and the current events team spanning those, this opportunity to head up the event agency offering and scope out their growth strategy; is one not to be missed.

THE ROLE

This newly created role will be integral in the future of the events department of this agency and will work closely with the senior management team in setting the strategic vision. Building out the infrastructure, processes and operational procedures to be able to grow and develop their events offering will be the main focus of this role; as well as looking at the client base and new opportunities to further broaden this out.

As an experienced Head of Events / Senior Event Director you will lead a team initially and grow the department ultimately - in the UK and potentially across their global offices.

Taking ownership of the internal teams and working closely with the heads of department to ensure delivery and growth this is a broad role with responsibilities including:

* Leading , managing and developing a team
* Contributing to the company growth strategy
* Inputting into proposals and pitching where required
* Overseeing delivery across the board
* Reviewing internal processes and infrastructure
* Working closely with internal departments
* Supporting with the acquisition, retention and growth of clients
* Managing internal resource and scoping out a growth plan
* Ultimate P&L responsibility for the department

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate must have previous experience of working at a senior for either an events, production or creative agency with a solid understanding of full service agencies and the delivery of events including conferences and exhibitions. A deep understanding of the B2B technology market would be a huge advantage for this roles, and candidates must have previous experience of managing and developing a team and operating at a senior level in addition to having a commercial business approach.
