A leading global exhibition organiser is recruiting for an Account Manager. You will be working as part of a new team across an exciting new exhibition globally, with the opportunity to make your mark and grow the portfolio. You will be responsible for selling exhibition space and sponsorships for your own territory, with significant amount of travel involved. You will be an experienced sales person who has strong account management skills as well as brilliant new business development ability, reporting to the Event Director.responsibilities:
- Bringing in new business by sourcing own leads, and developing existing accounts with up-selling through telesales and face-to-face selling.
- To sell against agreed targets
- To work closely with other departments, mainly marketing, operations and accounts to ensure the smooth running of the show(s)
- To provide excellent customer service & after sales care
- To gain increased knowledge of the printing industry client base for the benefit of the company
- To accurately maintain the sales database
- Sales administration
- To be able to sell internationally
- Maintain strong customer relationships
- Provide weekly pipelines to manager
- To identify and liaise with key industry associations
The successful candidate will have experience in exhibition or printing industry sales preferable, will be familiar with CRM (Salesforce) and Microsoft Suite and have excellent communication skills.
