Job Details
A top London venue and high profile visitor attraction, boasting a range of beautiful and inspiring event spaces, is looking to recruit an Event Sales Executive. Events vary from dinners, receptions, conferences, fashion shows, product launches, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and private and corporate events, You would be the first point of contact for any client wishing to host an event.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be a graduate, with experience of working within the event industry, ideally within a hotel or venue in London.
The ideal candidate needs to be a personable individual with a passion for events and sales and has excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing, great attention to detail, self-motivation and who is looking for a role that really makes an impact and can really open up their career long term.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to reactive enquiries via telephone or email and supplying the client with a bespoke proposal based on their event brief within 24 hours.
- Conducting site visits with the client and upselling accredited suppliers.
- Managing TV or film location filming as required.
- Representing the venue at tradeshows and networking events as required.
- Account managing your clients to increase repeat bookings.
- Ensuring that all financial information relating to events is recorded accurately.
- Helping the Operations Team with events as required in busy periods.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers and staff to ensure events run smoothly.
- Administrative tasks such as raising invoices, purchase orders and creating contracts for confirmed bookings.
