Senior Account Manager

This creative brand experience agency in London with a wide range of clients, seek a Senior Account Manager to take responsibility for the smooth running and efficiency of client accounts whilst being the interface between clients and the agency itself.

You must have a good understanding of client businesses and develop strong relationships with key members of the client team. With this knowledge, insight and interpersonal skills the SAM can be a big part of the team which ensures that the agency puts forward creative experiential proposals that are relevant to the client's business challenges and deliverable to the highest standard by the agency team

Acting as an ambassador for this creative production company, you will lead more junior members of the team by example and demonstrate core values in everything you do, however big or small.

Strategy and Creative
  • Contribute to the strategy, insight and creative development process from initial brief to final presentation, attending key review meetings along the way
  • Preparing or reviewing/approving Statement of work, budgets and timing plans, and ensuring these have also been approved by the Operations Director
  • Write or review/approve creative briefs, reviews
  • Contribute to proposal writing and seek input from key contributors


Delivery
  • Manage the resources needed to service projects within their team structure
  • Take responsibility for the smooth running and efficiency of client accounts
  • Regular status meetings, creative reviews and email/phone correspondence


Post Delivery
  • Ensure each project is reconciled (financial and creative) with a critique of key lessons learned within two weeks of the job closing
  • Help to identify new opportunities and initiatives that are relevant to the client's business and represent growth opportunities for ENERGY


Process
  • Adhere to all the financial management, reporting and budgeting processes - ensuring forecasts are updated regularly, as required by the Management Team




Person Spec
  • Passionate, a keen interest, with good understanding and knowledge of the experiential industry
  • Ability to put the Agency first and to take a long-term perspective on Client/Agency relationships
  • Trustworthy, reliable, confident and mature in dealings with clients, people and issues
  • Minimum 3 years' experience at an experiential or creative events agency
  • With at least 1 year at AM/JAM
  • Good leadership, motivational and people management skills
  • Sound business judgement and financial/resource planning
  • Project / Event Management experience in the field essential
  • Flexible approach to working hours is required (including weekends, bank holidays and unsociable hours when necessary)
  • Production and logistic experience
