This highly creative global production and exhibitions agency seeks a Business Development Manager to join their Bristol office!

THE AGENCY

Our client is a leading supplier of custom and modular exhibition stands and portable display kits. They supply worldwide exhibition stand services including free stand design, hire stands, exhibition stand storage, stand build and furniture hire.

With a fantastic range of clients including high profile organisations, technology clients, well known sports brands and automotive clients - this agency delivers cutting edge live experiences, experiential build and exhibitions including design and build of intricate stands and outdoor public events!

As part of a bigger global agency they work in partnership on some events and directly with some of their own end clients.

THE ROLE

As Business Development Director you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities to increase company revenue and expand presence within the market.

Key responsibilities will include:

Identifying new business opportunities
Understanding the businesses unique selling propositions
Researching and contacting new prospect businesses
Working closely with management to ensure sales strategies are in line with the marketing of the business
Building and developing relationships with key stakeholders and prospective clients
Developing a database of new and existing contacts
Taking briefs and pitching for new business
Keeping up to date with industry trends and providing feedback to the wider team
Attending industry networking events to establish new contacts and generate new business leads
Create and implement the new business growth strategy

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have proven business development experience from within the exhibition and events industry, with proven capabilities of driving new business forward. Experience from an exhibition design and build organisation would be an advantage, however candidates from a production and events agency background, as well as large scale exhibition venues will be considered.

You must be confident in a client facing position, comfortable with implementing process into a business and most importantly thrive in an adaptable and ever-evolving environment.
