This well renowned and respected association are a market leader in their field and are responsible not only for producing leading research but also for organising and delivering an international portfolio of exhibitions. Communicating effectively with their wide reaching membership base they pride themselves on producing informative and flawless events offering engaging content through events including awards programmes, gala dinners, conferences, competitions, workshops and seminars.

THE ROLE
Due to a busy events calendar there is now a need for an experienced Event Manager to come on board and manage a range of events and feature content that run alongside their large international exhibition programmes. A broad role responsibilities include:
Leading on all arrangements for internal events
Venue management and liaison
Speaker sourcing and management including arranging travel and accommodation
Liaising with speakers to ensure collection of biographies and slides etc
Planning room layouts and entertainment programmes
Scheduling workshops and demonstrations
Sponsor and exhibitor management
Creation of conference related materials
Working closely with internal marketing teams
Onsite management and registration
THE CANDIDATE
Candidates will need to have proven experience of working across a mixture of both conferences and exhibitions. Experience of liaising with and managing speakers would be ideal, including organising travel and accommodation and ensuring biographies and slides etc are acquired ahead of the event. Candidates must be used to working with internal marketing teams and external suppliers and be happy with international travel as onsite management of the events will be required.
