Our client is a strategic advisory firm that counsels some of the world's leading technology companies, corporations and individuals on strategies for growth, entering new markets, and engaging key stakeholders and relevant decision makers.
The services provided by the company include developing business strategy, handling media relations, navigating policy and regulatory issues, exploring partnership opportunities, crisis management, facilitating strategic ideas already in place, and building effective stakeholder relationships through which clients may achieve their goals.
THE ROLE
Due to a busy events calendar we are now looking for a logistics-focused Event Manager to join this exciting Events and Operations Team based in London. With some exciting and challenging events in the pipeline for 2020 we are looking for someone who can come on board and hit the ground running and embrace a challenge!
The events will range from financial roadshows, parties, investor meetings, influencer dinners and bespoke client entertainment programmes globally.
Key responsibilities:
Leading on all arrangements for international events
Organising pre-IPO roadshows in Europe, Asia and The Middle East
Venue management and liaison
Multiple guest lists management for events and roadshows
Refreshing RSVP processes
CRM management, upkeep and reconciliation
Budget management
Developing relationships with key stakeholders including senior leadership team
THE CANDIDATE
The candidate will have previous experience handling large guest lists and handling big budget events. Experience in organising corporate events in the finance sector is preferred. If you can work well under pressure, react swiftly to last minute event changes and be able to communicate confidently with corporate clients then we need you!
You must be able to work well under pressure, react swiftly to last minute event changes and be able to communicate confidently with corporate clients. This role requires exceptional excel skills and should be highly numerate.
