Boutique Event Agency with clients from a broad spectrum of industries. We run a variety of event types & size across the UK & also internationally; including Awards Dinners, Conferences, small corporate incentives and an annual invite-only festival.
Seeking enthusiastic candidates, ideally with some experience of the event industry but not essential as training will be provided.
Maternity cover contract from early October 2019 until November 2020. Part-time role based on 15-20 hours per week, specific hour/days of the week negotiable. Potential for extension into permanent role after this period.
Full training given, including 3-4 week handover period with existing Account Manager. After which the successful candidate will work alongside Agency Directors on events.
Responsibilities:
- Location/venue research (to client event briefs)
- Proposal writing (templates provided)
- Compiling basic Excel cost sheets and expense sheets for each event (templates provided)
- Basic social media updates (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
- Occasional on-site assisting event managers at events (over-time rate applies)
Requirements:
- Good Microsoft office knowledge (mainly working within Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Basic social media knowledge
No event specific qualifications required, training will be given. Experience is more important!
