THE COMPANY
Our client is a live event specialists who deliver engaging events and event related services throughout the UK. As a business they get involved in full event management including event delivery, technical and venue finding.
Working with a broad range of clients they deliver conferences, award winning catwalk shows and interactive exhibitions - within budget and deadlines!
Boasting cutting edge AV kit they build stunning stage sets and backdrops, indoor and outdoor stages and dress venues - no job is too big or small!
THE ROLE
Due to ongoing success and growth they are now looking for a Technical Project Manager to join their team, and take a lead role on the technical production across a wide range of corporate events from brief through to delivery. This is an integral role within the business and you will play a lead across a range of corporate events.
As a Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for;
Meeting with clients and understanding their event requirements
Managing projects from brief through to on-site delivery
Advising on production and equipment for corporate events
Carrying out site visits
Putting together technical specifications
Producing quotes
CAD drawings
Managing event logistics including booking and scheduling kit, crew and transportation
Managing and reporting on budgets
Overseeing events on-site
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this Technical Project Manager role you must have a strong technical production understanding from within the events industry. We are looking for candidates who come from a production company or AV supplier with a strong background in corporate events, ideally having worked on conferences previously.
This is a busy and fast-paced environment so we are looking for candidates who are team players, who can work under pressure and who have sharp attention to detail.
