A large international company who have specialised in Interiors, Exhibitions and Events since the 1900's are seeking a sales account manager to join their London office. You will need to be a driven sales account manager with a background in the UK-based organizers. You will be instrumental in growing their already thriving, general contracting and services business. You will possess strong networking skills combined with an excellent "deal making" track record. You will need to have a self-starting attitude, organisational sensitivity and hold a "never give up" mentality. Preference will be given to those who have international sales and account management experience and/or a sales management background:



Results
  • Realise revenue and margin targets (against new business as well as continuation of existing business)
  • Client satisfaction on both processes (controlled & reliable) as final project results (quality, timing, budget, impact).
  • Develop new business opportunities according to plan
  • Very strong relationship management with prospects and existing customers


Responsibilities
  • Promote company services & activities
  • Identify and qualify business opportunities
  • Offer competitive solutions with the intent of "under promise, over deliver"
  • Achieve and/or exceed sales quotas
  • Write and maintain account plans per client and for the whole of the business
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales messages, proposals and presentations
  • Leverage internal and external resources, to build new client relationships
  • Nature and foster growth within existing client relationships
  • Provide detailed activity based reports
  • Attend events, shows and be present for new projects and prospects


Requirements
  • 5+years minimum commercial experience in the organizers and/or trade show services industry
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Manage leads, accounts, contacts, opportunity pipeline and activities
  • Plan and manage strategically and operationally
  • Ability to effectively present ideas and information in a professional business environments
