There are 32 in the organisation, and it is a very friendly and fun place to work. The role is a key role in the Marketing and Education team - and is focussed on the relationships with key partners, and project management around their event/initiative deliverables. They run a series of key conferences and events in their sector and your remit would be looking after all the partner relationships.

THE ROLE
This is a great role. It forms part of the Marketing and Education directorate who are responsible for the Society's marketing, communications and educational activity including events. They work with a wide range of stakeholders and partners to develop and deliver initiatives designed to support their membership. The post combines sales (re-engagement in the main) and account management, providing a central contact for external stakeholders and oversight of the society's relationships. As you are fully embedded at the heart of the team, you will receive excellent support. You'll also go to attend upcoming international events in the sector (Madrid and Atlanta) as part of your role! Key Responsibilities include:
- Partnership management
  • Identify, develop and manage relationships with commercial and non-commercial partners to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship.
  • Respond to project proposals from external partners, negotiating contractual agreements and developing internal plans with colleagues to deliver the projects.

  • Identify and develop innovative opportunities to propose to potential commercial and non-commercial partners.
  • Evaluate and continuously improve satisfaction levels to ensure best value for our partners and members.
  • To develop and maintain CRM system to retain an accurate and useful record of our interactions and agreements with our partners, including up to date contact details.
  • Provide advice and guidance to internal and external colleagues as to how to achieve the most successful outcome through partnership opportunities.

- Sponsorship and exhibition sales and management
  • To design and develop the sponsorship and exhibition opportunities for all BSR conferences including the annual conference
  • Develop and implement appropriate sales and marketing plans to target and attract commercial partners to achieve target incomes.
  • To stay abreast of the changes and trends in the sponsorship and exhibition at events to identify new ways of maximising income, ensuring that emerging opportunities or threats are identified and managed appropriately.
  • To ensure sponsorship and exhibition agreements are formalised, signed and invoiced in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the Event Managers to ensure the delivery of all event exhibition and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Ensure that all sponsorship, exhibition and partnership activity is aligned with BSR strategic plan.
  • Evaluate and continuously improve satisfaction levels for all sponsors and exhibitors.
