A unique and exciting opportunity for a Senior Venue Sales person to join a well-known live event agency in London selling multifunctional event space across their portfolio of venues!

THE COMPANY

Based in London, this fantastic agency have a rapidly growing, privately owned group of hospitality, catering and event management businesses. They are multi-award winning and are at the forefront of the event industry with an enviable portfolio of companies.

Their unique and large scale venue portfolio is comprised of 12 outstanding venues with capacities of between 1000-4000 pax. Offering a consultative service they strive for high standards and excellence at all times for every client. They pride themselves on having an experienced events team flexible enough to carter for all types of events.

THE ROLE

They are now looking for a Senior Sales Executive/Manager to join their team and play a key role in converting enquiries into events through developing relationships with a range of clients. You will be a central point of contact for all clients and enquires into the venue as well as supporting the events team.

This is a broad role that includes;

* Following up all inbound enquiries via email, telephone and the website
* Managing large scale events from enquiry until contracting
* Proactively identify new sales leads
* Efficient diary management
* Researching organisations and potential new markets
* Conducting site visits
* Liaising direct with the client at all times
* Putting event proposals together
* Briefing the event team on the proposed event
* Working with external suppliers

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for the Senior Sales Executive/Manager role you must come with similar experience from within a venue or event sales. You will have a proven track record of consistently converting enquiries and achieving targets.

Most importantly you must have great planning and communications skills and have the confidence and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
