Outgoing Client Services / Events Assistant needed - event admin & event support - corporate events for media & advertising sector clients!

COMPANY

Award winning Media company specialising in the Corporate Barter market (advertising & distribution channels). Fun, dynamic and fast paced London based company (circa 50 staff with a dedicated Events Team of two) whose core business is trading in media & advertising spaces for corporate companies. The Events Team organise a range of corporate events, conferences & incentives, client entertaining & corporate hospitality for their partners & clients (these are media & advertising agencies primarily) as well as acting in a corporate concierge focused capacity in terms of organising business flights, accommodation, restaurant bookings, travel travels etc for their clients.

ROLE

This is a 3 + ½ month contract (starting mid-October 2019 running to the end of January 2020) and is a Client Services & Events Administrator position that will see you working in the fast paced and exciting client services & events department (team of 3) of this leading award-winning Media company.

The client services & events team have 2 functions:-
  • End-to-end event management (event design & planning, venue & supplier sourcing, budgeting & supplier rates negotiation, on-site event delivery, all event related admin & reporting and post-event reconciliation)
  • Client servicing (taking event briefs, working closely with clients on their requirements, corporate concierge services and travel & hotel logistics)


During the contract you will be supporting the Client Services & Events team on the admin, research, data-entry and organisation of a range of events (incentives, corporate team building, 1-2 day conferences, product launches, exhibitions, dinners, client entertaining & networking events and corporate hospitality) and will also assist with travel logistics (flights, hotels, transfers, restaurant bookings etc..) for client business trips or for the attendees at an event they're organising. This is a 90% event admin support role with 10% supporting on organizing travel & accommodation in a sort of concierge type capacity.

YOU

You'll be a super-organised events / client servicing junior with around 1 year of office admin & events related experience (working with business / corporate clients) who is commercially astute and customer service focused. You'll have some good basic event management, travel logistics & concierge services experience, excellent attention to detail and strong admin and IT skills (Excel in particular).

We're looking for someone who is fun, outgoing, hard-working, great with clients and loves events!

We're also looking for a candidate with a sleeves-rolled up & can-do attitude who is happy to do all the event related admin & data-entry as well as supporting on the more exciting bits of event planning, venue & supplier sourcing, on-site delivery.

This is such an exciting and interesting contract and agency-side corporate B2B event positions working across the fast paced and creative media & advertising sectors don't come round very often so if you're a talented Client Services Assistant / Events Assistant / Project Assistant who is customer service focused, great with clients, passionate about events and top-quality client servicing then this a fantastic opportunity (especially as the contract might go perm in 2020!).
