A rare opportunity to be part of a well-known organisation in London, managing all of their events and playing a crucial part in the senior team! This position is a maternity cover, but will give youscope and experience working on some really exciting projects!
THE ORGANISATION
Based in North London, this organisation are very well known and have a number of prestigious venues on site that will need managing. These venues can be used for a variety of events including weddings, filming, corporate meetings and seminars.
THE ROLE
Working closely with the events team, commercial staff and external stakeholders, this role will involve coordinating the commercial and letting activities within the organisation
This role will be working very closely with the Commercial Manager who has successfully established a clear commercial strategy that will enable the Commercial Events Coordinator to ensure the smooth running of this department.
Following up all inbound enquiries via email, telephone and the website
Dealing with and managing budgets
Proactively identify new sales leads
Researching organisations and potential new markets
Conducting site visits
Liaising direct with the client at all times
Putting event proposals together
Briefing the event team on the proposed event
Working with external suppliers
Being on-site at events to greet the client
Taking post-event feedback
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this Commercial Events Coordinator role we are looking for candidates who have a strong passion for the events industry and the ability to deal with budgets. You will have strong administrative skills and must be proficient with Microsoft Excel.
