Join this established agency and oversee the operations in their dedicated film team!
THE COMPANY
Recognised as one of the leading agencies, this design, events and communications agency offer a list of services in house including creative, logistics and production! Being so well established in the market, they have developed long lasting relationships with a range of fantastic clients.
Due to increasing success, they now have the opportunity for Head of Film to come on board and oversee their dedicated Film team. This is a hand's on role where you will be key point of contact across new and existing clients, developing pitches through to travelling on-site for video shoots.
THE ROLE
As the Head of Film you will manage and oversee the creative post-production of videos, including offline and online editing, motion graphics design, asset delivery, subtitling, tech check & QC. You will be responsible for the accurate archiving of existing video assets as well as creating archiving standards for future use, such as naming conventions and file size/type requirements.
The Film team have an already established client base however also work alongside the event production team and develop content for their global projects. This role requires a strategic thinker who will provide key input and direction into the team.
Key responsibilities will include:
Account management across existing clients
Developing proposals for new business
Key point of client contact
Working with internal departments
Travelling on-site
Commercial awareness
Overseeing and mentoring film team
experience & knowledge of budget management & ownership
Practical experience & knowledge of drawing up and managing film production schedules & budgets
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate should be working at a similar capacity within an agency and have experience in CGI, Animation, Motion Graphics, Film & Video Production, Editing & Producing, Script writing and story board interpretation
The role requires candidates to be confident client face, delivering strategies across each account and presenting proposals.
