Based in Amsterdam, a long standing, highly professional association, seeks an experienced sales and marketing professional. With a strategic background and strong people management skills, your role will be to implement and realise a strategy which will lead to clear objectives, business and revenue growth and a better understanding and delivery of member needs.

As part of the management team, you will have robust multi-tasking ability, as you will be managing multiple projects, global departments and staff, as well as ensuring that the organisations event strategy is successful and focused on cutting edge content for its members.

Responsibilities include:
  • Create business development plans and design and implement processes to support business growth.
  • Identifying new customers and markets and develop approaches to the new markets.
  • Developing a marketing strategy across all areas of the business;
  • Lead brand and product innovation projects.
  • Manage and lead the sales functions on commercial products.
  • Developing relationships and partnerships with business partners - suppliers,
    sub-contractors, JV partners and technology providers.
  • Create organisational processes to ensure that stakeholders and members are communicated with efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage and oversee the events team to ensure the smooth running of the events programme;
  • Direct the implementation of all software programmes and technology that will enhance events of the future.
  • Oversee and monitor the budgets of several departments, ensuring that targets are met and exceeded.
  • Manage and motivate a large team, holding performance and appraisal interviews.

The ideal candidate will be:
  • Degree educated.
  • Extensively experienced in a senior management position within a corporate or association
  • Commercially astute
  • Experienced in doing International business
  • Strongly experienced in marketing and has in-depth sales experience including revenue generation
  • Must be eligible to work in Holland in 2021 on wards

This role is offering flexible working hours, opportunity to work from home and includes international travel on a regular basis.
