This renowned employer, based in the heart of Birmingham City Centre, is looking for an experienced Video Production Manager to work with their video production team on a 6-month FTC, starting in either December 2020 or January 2021. The salary is very competitive and the benefits are fantastic. There is free parking on-site (this role will be part onsite on shooting days and part remote due to COVID), but you must be able to work onsite when needed.

The role is to oversee and coordinate the production and completion of all media projects, looking at innovative ways to look at each shoot and best practices. There is a team of 5 within the media team and it is this person's responsibility to oversee and manage all within the team as well as the freelancers.

You will be able to juggle multiple tasks and projects, have great communication skills, and be able to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers and staff within the wider creative and marketing teams.

You will be responsible for overseeing all the media projects and ensuring all projects are delivered on time and to the budgets (which you have helped to set).

The projects that this team work on are very diverse, from film/video, photography, drone, live streaming and animation, and whilst not imperative, it would be useful if you have the skills to complete basic shoots or video edits where needed.

You will be highly organised and able to juggle and schedule the workflow of the team (which runs at around 10 projects at any one time), as well as being responsible for reviewing the production and working processes and being able to review and change should there be better working practices or processes to implement.

It is your responsibility to organise and manage the planning of the production schedules for the in-house media team as well as developing strong relationships with external crew and freelancers. You will complete preparation and planning tasks ahead of filming, such as location and venue permissions, COVID risk assessments, call sheets, H&S risk assessments and liaise with and manage suppliers.

This is a great opportunity to join a team that is innovative; the shoots are diverse and they work as a close-knit team, but they are in need of a Production Manager with video experience to help them deliver on all the shoots that they have planned in the next 6 months.
