This global agency with an emerging presence in the EMEA region is looking for a Business Development Director to join their ambitious team.
The role requires a pro-active self-starter who is able to bring in new business and engage with new contacts to spark meaningful conversations and bring in RFP's. The agency has a plethora of successful event creds to back up these initial conversations. The aim will be to make contact with senior level c-suite clients in order to understand their problems and present a solution in the live or virtual space. This person would identity and pursue new opportunities, oversee proposal development once RFP's are obtained, attend networking events, ensure a steady sales pipeline, keep up to date with technology trends, present new products and services to potential clients, use knowledge of the market to identity and develop new USP's and track and record activity on accounts.
The person must be someone with a track record of working with a global agency to deliver results and drive revenue through an agency. This is most definitely not an account management and growth role, but a role focused on going out and getting new clients who the agency have not done business with before, so the application process will require examples of such new business wins. This is a small team, so the role would suit a team player who is flexible and adaptable.
