Working within William Reed’s Digital Operations division - The Digital Content Producer (Video Producer) will produce video, audio and other multimedia content to be streamed across our portfolio of websites, webinars and events within the food, drink and hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:

Predominantly the Digital Content Producer will be:

  • Creating video continent around our events, conferences, webinars & magazines in the food, drink and hospitality sectors
  • Responsible for video recording and editing of conference sessions, videos, interviews and many other types of engaging video content.
  • Conducting and facilitating interviews with internal and external stakeholders, key speakers and sponsors
  • Recording video and audio content on location (when necessary) or remotely
  • Producing content according to best practices regarding framing, lighting, mics, noise cancellation etc
  • Video Recording: use StreamYard, Zoom recordings, YouTube/YouTube Premiere and/or any other screen capture software
  • Video Editing to a professional standard (cuts, transitions, animations, intro stings, speaker cards, panel cards)

This is a role that works across the global business and as such recordings and other key elements of the role can be conducted outside of usual UK working hours - flexibility and the acceptance of working some shifted hours is key.

What we’re looking for:

  • Autonomous, flexible, and agile by taking initiatives and submitting alternative solutions
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written
  • Attentive to detail, methodical and highly organized
  • Track record of performance excellence, meeting targets and objectives
  • Flexible approach to working hours and objectives
  • Software: familiarity with products such as StreamYard, Camtasia, Audacity, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere or similar
  • Proficient in conducting online and in-person recordings (must know best practices regarding framing, lighting, mics, noise cancellation etc.)
  • Ability to organise and coordinate recording sessions with clients/speakers
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines with quick turnarounds
  • Desirable: basic Adobe Photoshop skills, a good eye for design and attention to detail
