Head of Marketing - Dubai
Working for a large global exhibition organiser with a vibrant office in Dubai, this Head of Marketing role will be focusing on providing a world class level of marketing that adopts a mix of traditional and innovative tactics and strategies that reflects the position of the high profile show that is being promoted. Managing a team of 7, you will be creating, developing and implementing the overarching marketing strategy across exhibitor, visitor, delegates and the speaker acquisition process for this large scale event.
Working closely with senior management, you will have responsibility for key stakeholder management across the event including the preparation and sharing of campaign verticals in regular meetings with key government entities as well as managing and cultivating 3rd party relationships across contra agreements and industry associations.
You will manage the marketing P&L for the event and campaign cycle and will work closely with the conference production team on the creation of all conference related collateral, as well as creating robust visitor campaigns with a focus on unique attendance growth and retention strategies.
This is a strategic role to drive the global marketing piece, creating message houses, so the role needs a senior marketeer that understands the role of a corporate communications team in their client organisations.
You will need:
- Extensive marketing experience at management level for a B2B event/exhibition organiser
- Degree level education
- Detailed knowledge of marketing best practice with a strong understanding of social media and digital marketing
- Experience of dealing with and managing key stakeholders
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Team management experience
- Ability to work well under pressure
Salary - AED 40-45k
UK - £85-100k + bonus
