Job Details
Highly creative, large budgets, bespoke, VIP, executive and the list goes on… Your chance to join a fantastic corporate business that delivers small but highly prestigious executive events.
THE COMPANY
This well-established, privately owned business focuses on creating highly polished and exclusive events / premium client entertainment trips for corporate clients (heavily tech) that attract high net worth individuals and institutional investors.
The numbers of "delegates" are low, and the volume of events small, compared to most event teams, but the budgets and scope for creativity is unrivalled.
Private parties, conferences, investor meetings, roadshows, networking dinners and premium client entertainment trips - each delivered with an amazing level of detail and (almost) money no object.
With the company having tripled in size, and a fantastic array of events on the horizon, this really is a great time to come on board.
THE ROLE
This organisation are looking for an Event Director to join the events team and take the lead on some of their most prestigious events whilst also helping in the management and development of the wider events team.
Responsibilities will include:
* Taking ownership of global events from planning through to delivery
* Managing multiple large scale budgets
* Leading project teams
* Taking client briefs
* Creating event proposals
* Providing event schedules and timelines
* Providing solutions and responses where necessary
* Sourcing suitable venues
* Organising roadshow itineraries and manage roadshow logistics
* Full onsite event management including
* Drafting invitation letters
* Overseeing all production
* Booking travel and accommodation
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have experience delivering high value corporate events internationally with large budgets from start to finish. You will have strong event management skills (logistics) and exceptional attention to detail. Experience managing a team would also be desirable. To be successful for this role, you will have a proven track record of working alongside high-net worth individuals/clients, delivering big budgeted corporate events end to end.
In return you will have the opportunity to join a fantastic organisation and will be able to use your creativity and event planning experience working across some truly phenomenal global events!
