If prestigious hi-end events are your bag .. then this is your dream job!  You’ll be working as a key member of the events team at this historic and iconic institution, and you’ll deliver a wonderful range of dinners, receptions and varied hospitality events in some of London’s most prestigious heritage venues, livery halls etc.

Role
Working in a great team, you’ll have lead responsibility for your own events – lunches, dinners, receptions, business receptions, banquets, from 20 -700 people. All within some of London’s most beautiful and historical venues. You’ll work closely with committee and stakeholders, from initial guest lists and event proposal, through guest list management, table plans, tastings, briefings, to final on the day delivery.  This is a fantastic role that will see you working on the highest level of events and working in some of London’s most historical venues.

You
You’ll be a bit of an events ‘star’ and have proven experience working on dinners, receptions, banquets etc, at varied venues, ideally including livery halls and similar heritage spaces. Ideally you’ll have experience of working to committees and senior level stakeholders, and of dealing with varied bodies including embassies, royalty, senior level business, charity and community representatives. We are looking for someone who is confident and can quickly find their feet and ownership, as  they’ll be entering a busy period later in the year, so you’ll need to have stamina and energy!  Specifically we are looking for someone who can bring proven experience of:

  • End to end delivery of hi-end hospitality events, dinners, receptions, banquets
  • Working with varied and senior level stakeholders/committees
  • Guest list research, invitations, table plans
  • All logistic aspects catering, suppliers, running order, briefings
  • Leading on tastings
  • Prepare all briefings etc and on the day lead on the event
  • Excellent communicator, well presented,
  • Numerate, attention to detail, eye for perfection, loves events
