THE ROLE

Due to continued growth and further expansion they are now looking to bring on board an experienced Event Director. A broad role responsibilities will include:

Account management and development
Managing and developing client relationships
Developing new business and growth strategies
Leading on large pitches where required
Supporting with the acquisition, retention and growth of clients
Managing and developing a team (including the management of freelancers)
Having oversight of delivery, operations, resource and process within the teams
Taking the lead on the delivery of larger more complex projects
Developing "top level" relationships with key suppliers
Supporting with strategic forecasting and planning
Budget ownership and management, including P&L management

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate must have previous experience of working for either an events, production or full service agency with a solid understanding of the delivery of a broad range of large scale events. Knowledge of creative, logistics, communications and production is essential as it the ability to develop and build relationships. Candidates must have previous experience of managing and developing a team and operating at a senior level in addition to a strong commercial focus . An operational background is required for this senior level position as you will also be required to be hands on the in the management and delivery of events.

More importantly candidates must be able to think strategically and have the ambition and passion to join this leading agency and drive the team forward in this next phase of growth.
