A well known publishing brand with a creative and interesting event portfolio, seek an experienced Head of Event Content to work on a portfolio of events throughout the year across the UK that will reflect the brand values and editorial standards of the company.
The portfolio consists of a 2 large scale events which will be hybrid to satisfy the global interest in this subject matter and the brand, with a variety of stages with various formats of content including interviews, presentations, fireside events, Ted Talk Style events and presentations, which will be engaging to the visitors. As well as providing content for these stages, you will also get involved in creating immersive and engaging features at the event.
On top of the large scale events, their will be a range of smaller evening events and 1 day weekend events throughout the year which will be hybrid and involve developing more visual content, video and presentations from a studio.
You will work with internal departments, publishers, sponsors to develop events for a global audience. You will develop and manage the end to end speaker management process, working closely with online production companies and on-line logistics teams to ensure the content is engaging, creative, innovative and runs smoothly.
You will also lead and manage initiatives to enhance the events portfolio, deliver results against objectives and improve planning and execution processes.
This role will have one report to support them on administrative duties.
You must have:
- Extensive experience in content-led event production, preferably for a consumer audience. This role will not suit a B2B conference producer unless you have experience of providing content for a Festival with multi formatted streams.
- Experience of the management, development of broadcast quality content.
- Excellent time management, organisation and prioritising skills.
