We’re looking for an engaging and ambitious Business Development Executive with some existing event sales experience to join this busy and buzzy events services agency!

THE COMPANY
Cutting-edge and vibrant event technology services agency with an exciting client base of global brands and high-profile corporates. Now in their sixth year and fast ramping up again, they work with a really impressive range of clients (from Sky, to L’Oreal, Barclays and more!) providing curated and account managed event services, using their brilliant bespoke event meeting management tech platform. Now looking to expand their event management offering. Fab company culture, very cool loft-style open plan Shoreditch office, re-expanding fast through client demand and the fantastic product and service they offer and deliver on.

THE ROLE
This is a new role with a new focus within their existing sales team. As part of their current growth plan, your remit will be to get the pipeline going for their event management services offering. Your focus will be to get a consolidated and managed pipeline established and moving, on which they can base the expansion of the event management team - so this role comes with a clear and exciting remit – and will bring really measurable results. Reporting into the Senior Business Development Manager this is a fantastic opportunity to really make your mark with your excellent sales and business development skills, communication skills and natural sales talent, enthusiasm and commercial acumen. You’ll be responsible for generating qualified leads from both warm and cold clients – which are ripe for conversion. As well as with your Senior Business Development Manager, you’ll also work closely with the Head of Events and the Account Management team. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Generating leads for the team  – following up on marketing qualified leads, prospecting new leads and generating sales opportunities through outbound sales activities
  • Qualifying opportunities, drive and generate opportunities for event briefs
  • Booking meetings – a key deliverable of the role will be to book qualified meetings for your Business Development Manager to conduct
  • Record, manage, plan etc your sales activities
  • Enjoying your role!

THE CANDIDATE
