Our client, a global organiser and information provider, with a range of world-class brands, seek a VP Europe, to work on one of their flagship international event products.
Heading up the commercial focus of this product, you will take full accountability for all sales, event marketing and event profitability. You will be a highly visible brand representative, championing their brand and events, building close relationships with key customers. Team development and management is also key to the success of this role, with multiple projects on the go to deliver the event
· Create and implement the commercial strategy to deliver consistently high growth for the show.
· Execute and localise the product blueprint within the show, feeding new ideas into the Product team for future events
· Key account management and being the face of the brand in your region
· Accountable for customer acquisition for sponsorship, managing a strong lead generation strategy.
· Work with the Sales Director to ensure the sales team deliver strong trading growth and focus on understanding
customer needs and ROI, constantly looking for new revenue opportunities and thinking differently to drive success
· Oversee the direction and management of your event team as they deliver event campaigns, ensuring they deliver on
brief, on budget, and on time, to the highest quality.
· Support, collaborate and advocate all global brand marketing, recognising these are revenue drivers for your show
· Coach, mentor, develop, motivate and lead your team with clear direction and focus on their roles and responsibilities,
whether they report to you or sit within the wider matrix structure
· Be an active member of the leadership team, driving excellence in the brand and with your colleagues
Skills, experience & qualifications required
· Experienced Commercial leader with clear experience of running high growth businesses
· Event/exhibition experience/knowledge with a track record of delivering large scale shows with global reach.
· Commercially astute with track record of delivering multi-million revenue streams
· Exceptional project management skills delivering on time and on budget
· Highly skilled people manager of multi-disciplinary teams with strong leadership and motivational capabilities
· Excellent experience in client management building relationships and problem solving
