DEPUTY HEAD OF PRODUCTION - EVENTS

THE ROLE

Supporting the Head of Production this role will be responsible for implementing innovation across project delivery and ensuring continual improvements on best practice and process across the production team.

A hybrid of delivery and managerial elements; key responsibilities include:

-Holding accountability for all production outputs alongside the Head of Production
-Ensuring tender responses and proposals are submitted efficiently and effectively
-Managing resource across the production team including freelancers
-Ensuring all projects are delivered effectively and in line with the client brief
-Reviewing and providing sign off for project budgets
-Managing key contractor relationships including cost negotiations
-Assisting with line management of production team leads
-Playing an integral part in business improvement, strategy and processes
-Deputising for the Head of Production as needed

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must have a proven background in a senior level event production role from either a full service event agency or event production agency. Existing Head of Production candidates from smaller settings will be considered as will Senior Production Managers from a large agency environment who are looking for the next step in their career (providing they have some experience in a mentoring or people management capacity). Experience working on high budget and complex projects across a broad range of sectors/clients would be very beneficial.
