THE ROLE
As Creative Strategy Director you will be working alongside the Creative Director and Creative Technology Director and will take the lead in the strategic development of ideas across new business pitches and ongoing projects within the creative phases. The aim of the Creative Strategy Director is to develop concepts and overarching strategic direction that can be applied across any creative output.
Responsibilities include:
* Leading the development of the strategic approach in response to briefs and RFPs
* Understanding the positioning of the client and their requirements through research to determine the strategic direction of a brief solution
* Thoroughly interrogating the requirements of a brief
* Deeply understanding the clients brand positioning
* Providing the strategic direction to influence the creative ideation development process
* Safeguarding the overall strategy throughout a project
* Understanding new consumer technologies, trends, the sector and challenges involved within the industry
* Writing the creative brief and briefing this to the creative project team
* Shaping the strategy and concept through creative story telling
THE CANDIDATE
Candidates must have experience working at a senior level within a creative agency background. An extensive understanding of a strategic and creative approach to projects in an events setting is essential. We are also looking for candidates with a proven ability to articulate and present ideas in a compelling way and be a good creative storyteller.
