THE ROLE

Due to a busy portfolio of events, and new clients coming on-board this agency are now looking to expand their team with a Senior Logistics Manager. This is a key role within the agency where you play a key role in managing the full logistics of events from brief through to delivery.

As a Senior Logistics Manager will project manage all crew and delegate logistics across a diverse range of projects. Specific responsibilities would include delegate management, crew logistics, accreditation, group accommodation, travel, transfers and welfare. You will also be responsible for the line management of the logistics team, conducting 1-2-1s and appraisals, managing staff through personal development plans and ensuring that all training needs are met.

Key responsibilities for this Senior Logistics Manager role includes;

* Taking full responsibility of events from brief, pitch and through to delivery
* Delegate management and registration
* Venue sourcing and management
* Transport and logistics managements
* Managing and reporting on budgets
* Sourcing and managing 3rd party suppliers (DMC's, venues, hotels and caterers)
* On-site management at events in the UK and internationally
* Team management

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have between 3-5 years' experience as a Logistics Manager/Senior Logistics Manager in an agency of similar environment and must be experienced in managing large groups.

It is important that you can demonstrate experience where you have managed projects from start to finish with full logistics and budget management.
