EVENT EXECUTIVE - ASSOCIATION (12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT)

THE COMPANY

This impressive independent association are leaders in their field and are very well established. With a wide reaching membership base, this association strives to enhance the study, growth and public knowledge and understanding of their specialist field.

Renowned for delivering industry related events for both members and non-members such as conferences, graduation ceremonies, seminars and webinars, this organisation are now looking to grow their events team with an Event Executive which will be an initial 12 month fixed term contract with the opportunity to be made permanent.

THE ROLE

You will work on all elements of running an event, so this is a great place to hone your skills and learn new ways of working!

This is a broad role with wide ranging responsibilities, including;

* Supporting the Events Team in the coordination and delivery of a range of key events
* Venue sourcing and liaison
* Speaker management
* Delegate registration and management
* Working closely with internal teams
* Management and negotiation with suppliers
* Recording income and expenditure relating to events
* Health & safety management
* Onsite event support and management

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate should have experience of delivering a range of events from end to end and have fantastic attention to detail. Virtual event experience is beneficial, but not necessary.

Candidates will also need to be organised, have excellent communication skills and be used to managing multiple projects with certain timescales.
