Events Manager – International Law Firm

Leading International Law Firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Event Manager to join their team on a 12 month mat cover. 

We are looking for a really on the ball, ‘polished’ and experienced in-house Corporate Event Manager (Professional Services background, Law Firm experience ideally) who can hit the ground running, and relishes working in a fast paced corporate environment.

It is a 12 month mat cover, and you’ll be working on varied international internal and client events and conferences (80-350 pax) both f2f and virtual. Most importantly this will specifically include their prestigious Global Partners Conference (European destination), as well as a range of other varied UK and international events and offsites. 

You’ll be working in a highly professional and close knit team of experienced event managers, and be working closely with internal stakeholders and Partners. We are looking for a particularly strong and experienced Event Manager who can seque smoothly into an existing and high performing corporate events team.  Specifically you’ll bring:

• Significant event management experience gained in a corporate professional services environment (Law firm would be ideal)
• Experience of delivering international corporate and UK conferences – specifically to include complex overseas events/conferences and working with high budgets
• Confident in developing virtual platforms and app technology with suppliers and internal stakeholders is required
• Excellent London and European venue knowledge
• Meticulous attention to detail, alongside excellent project management skills
• Committed to demonstrating the strategic value of event marketing
• Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage upwards with partners and influencing skills to ensure buy-in

Travel will be required as part of the role, for the Conference next year, as well as other offsites in Europe.
