HEAD OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT - EVENTS

THE ROLE

As Head of Project Management, you will lead the project management department driving efficiencies and operations across the team as well as overseeing event delivery from kick off phases through to execution.

Responsibilities include:

-Leading the project management team of 20 with 5 direct reports
-Developing and implementing processes and driving best practice
-Identifying new tools and technologies to support the delivery of projects
-Managing resourcing across the team including allocation of briefs
-Driving the successful delivery of events through the team
-Leading on some of the larger more high profile projects
-Attending initial briefing and pitching/kick off meetings
-Contributing to pitches and tenders where required
-Overseeing event budgets to ensure profitability
-Providing final sign off for all elements of operational delivery

THE CANDIDATE

We are looking for candidates who are working at Project Director / Head of Events level from within a fast paced event agency environment. Strong experience of managing a substantial team is essential, as is a background in event logistics delivery.
