TRAINEE RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT - Birmingham / Home Working

After an initial training period the earning opportunity is as follows;
Year 1 £35,000 OTE
Year 2 £45,000 - £50,000 OTE

Home working: Our rather fabulous offices are open all week to every team member, but generally we work from home 3 days a week. We're a fab team who see the value in being together regularly, so you'd need to be able to commute to our Birmingham office (Colmore Row) on 2 set days a week.

Holidays: 26 days holiday (plus more each year) + bank holidays + the option to take another 3 unpaid. Not bad we think..

The environment: Yes there's music playing, fresh fruit, random tea flavours and all the other stuff you'll find in a cool modern office, but what really makes it special is the positive vibe and supportive / happy team.

For the good: We want our team to make a difference both at work and in society. We offer 3 paid days per year to each person for charitable work, encourage charitable initiatives and we're committed to making a substantial annual donation to a charity chosen by the team.

The role
Mentored by one of our senior team members you will have extensive training across all areas of the events industry and how recruitment works in our business. Through a mixture of off desk teaching and working on live roles you'll soon have the experience and confidence to recruit across the events industry.

Initial training includes:

- Specific training on each sector within the events industry and how they interconnect
- Calling through candidate shortlists to make contact and fully interview
- Writing up interview notes and updating our CRM
- Writing overview sheets which will be included in candidate submissions
- Resourcing for live roles
- Writing adverts
- Formatting candidate CV's

Once the training is complete you'll will move to a Recruitment Consultant position where you'll be working on your own roles (still with support from the wider team), and that's when you're earning opportunity increases.

What do we look for?
We're looking for candidates with background in sales and an interest in the events industry. Confidence to speak with candidates at all levels combined with a personable and team orientated approach is a must.
